Technical Administrative Assistant III

Varstaff is currently searching for the following:

Duties:    
As a Technical Administrative Assistant III, you will perform a variety of functions in providing proactive administrative support of our Program Director. You will also provide proactive administrative support at the Director level and will actively contribute to the creation and execution of various projects and goals. You'll model high standards for the technical administration team and ensure overall adherence to corporate standards and business processes throughout the execution of daily support tasks. You'll be responsible for preparing deployment packages, coordinating travel, and overseeing medical, dental, and vision requirements for deployed personnel. You'll submit expense reports and purchase requisitions, maintain office supply inventory on-site, and work closely with the technical administration team to ensure all site and personnel needs are met. You'll initiate and track various applications, process and verify data from multiple sources, and utilize numerous IT platforms in your daily tasks. Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements: Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs. Working Conditions: Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.) Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials Rarely exposed to loud noises

Skills:    
Must-haves: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must have extensive knowledge of administrative practices, to include preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions, maintaining spreadsheets, and coordinating travel. Must have experience with maintaining a secured facility, or working in a military or Department of Defense environment. Must be extremely dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment. Must be able to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and have experience in the creation and execution of projects and goals. Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Visio, Teams and SharePoint Experience in a DOD environment and familiarity with JTR and FCG Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform or other travel management system

Education:    
Must-haves: B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 4 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma and 5 years of relevant work experience.
