(solidworks is a must!)

  4. drawing updates to complete - contract was extended with the government. (very hard number to hit which is why they need help)
  5. US citizen
  6. EE Engineer that converts must pass a security clearance.

In this role, you will be using your skills and expertise to develop engineering defintion for the Airborne Mission Network (AbMN) C-130 program. These drawings will be incorporated into a very complex technical data package including parts and assemblies for advanced mission payloads and electronic systems. You'll create and review layouts, drawings, and models for clarity, completeness, and accuracy. You'll identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommend revisions and/or improvements in designs.

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements: Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs. Working Conditions: Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Rarely exposed to loud noises

Skills:

Understanding of engineering principles and practices, including configuration management. Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams. Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools and drafting practices using SOLIDWORKS. Preferred experience with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) and 3Dxperience (PLM) software. Working knowledge of ASME and Government standards. Prior experience applying and interpreting. Knowledge of industry-standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware and or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, and production processes.

Education:

Must-haves: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 3 or more years of relevant experience. A higher level degree may substitute for experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Preferred: Associates or Technical Degree in a related field Background in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
