A test engineer (TE) needs to be able to read a fluid system P&ID, inspect the system in the field for damage, create work instructions for demolition, and repair of the system, including creating the work order, kitting the right parts, finding alternative parts, and managing and inspecting the work.  These engineers need to be well versed in fluid system, cryogenics, and experience with ASME B313.3, NFPA 55, NFPA 59A, NB23, and API 579 Chapter 11 is beneficial, but not required.
