As an Aerospace Engineer III, you will lead complex engineering projects, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers.
You will play a critical role in the innovation and development of advanced aerospace systems.

  • Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace components and systems.
  • Conduct and oversee extensive analysis and testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Review and approve technical documentation and reports.
  • Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using tools such as StarCCM+.
  • Experience developing aircraft aerodynamic databases.
  • Experience with heat transfer analysis.
  • Experience with aircraft component loads.
  • Experience with aircraft performance analysis.
  • Experience with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
  • Experience with aircraft static stability analysis.
  • Experience with store separation or 6DOF analysis.
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing and Linux platforms.
  • Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight mechanics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 

Must-haves: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
